Haiti Relief Efforts
How You Can Help |

American Jewish World Service
In Haiti, tens of thousands of people are reported dead and the death toll continues to rise after the most devastating earthquake to shake the region in two hundred years. Schools, hospitals and thousands of homes have been destroyed and over three million people have been left without adequate food, shelter, healthcare and basic infrastructure.
Thanks to our grantees on the ground, American Jewish World Service has been an early responder to this catastrophe. Since the news of the disaster broke, AJWS has been in contact with our grantees in the capital and in the countryside. Through our partnership with Konbit Pou Ayiti, Lambi Fund of Haiti, and other grantees, we are providing emergency funding for food, shelter and medical supplies to people in Port-au-Prince and the surrounding rural areas, and are ensuring that our partners are able to provide life-saving services to their communities.
AJWS has been supporting grassroots organizations in Haiti since 1999 and we will continue to stand by them long after the world's attention has moved on from this most recent disaster.
Please consider a generous contribution to AJWS's Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund, to enable communities in Haiti to respond, recover and rebuild in the wake of this enormous disaster.
