January 24: No Good Deed Goes Unpunished
The civil rights movement of the 1960’s was an awakening for many Americans. None more so, than young American Jews. Joining to help fight segregation, many were beaten and imprisoned in southern jails. Two gave their lives for the cause. Their reward was not what you would have expected. You will learn that no good deed goes unpunished.
